Project • YouTube Livestream
We were asked to provide livestreaming services for an event at the prestigious Royal Institution featuring NASA Astronaut James Pawelczyk, so those not lucky enough to get a ticket could watch from home via YouTube.
Having tested the speed of the connection before the shoot, we ran two streams via separate Apple Macs, each running Wirecast. This way should there be an issue with the first stream, the second would take over with no interruption to the livestream.
We also provided vision mixing, monitoring and recording equipment so the Director could vision mix the two live cameras and the presenter’s slides, as well as adding overlay graphics where necessary in Wirecast.
