Madness – Live at Kenwood House

Client • Madness
Project • Live at Kenwood House

Approached at the 11th hour by the band and their management, we were asked to create a full length film of this one-off event – the legendary Madness performing accompanied by a full orchestra at this large scale outdoor concert.

Using our extensive experience of shooting live music, we were able to quickly assemble a camera team and design a camera plot to capture the action on and off stage, as well as the grandeur of the settting.

With a wirecam over the audience, a polecam on the stage and seven well placed camera operators, we got great coverage of the action.

Our in-house production team took care of insurance and health and safety.

The final edit and grade were completed at our own facilities, delivering the final product in 4K.

“Our touring video director suggested Eve’ll Films for a project I was working on, which was a live concert with a 32 piece orchestra, which we were filming outdoors in Kenwood House, North London. This was quite a challenging task, with many added pressures such as change of light from day to night during the course of the concert and the sheer size of it. Eve’ll Films were well up to the task, supplying a truly professional crew and equipment and getting very good rates, plus a great director who I felt very comfortable with despite the lack of time for pre-preparation. The post-process was just as professional and the editing suite and editor were top class. All in all a most enjoyable experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the team to anyone. Which is actually what I’m doing right now!”
